Enfin j'ai trouve une idee pour creer une newsletter, juste sur la droite il y a Blogarithm, vous avez juste a mettre votre adresse email et comme cela vous pourrez recevoir un update ! je sais que moi meme si je n'ai pas d'update je ne prends pas le temps d'aller voir tous les blogs. merci de vos visites, je suis heureuse de pouvoir partager un petit bout de notre vie avec vous.
at last i have organised a newsletter, i must say if i don't get updates of blogs i don't visit as often, i love it when my favorite blogs send me updates. they don't have the news letter on blogger so i had to look elsewhere and this one seems to be easy to use. and thank you for your visits and comments, it always make my day to read them.

{Great day}

Today was a very busy day but fantastic day ! it's all OK ! we had 8 children at home 9 in the afternoon !
but they were all so good ! they played baseball, AFL, did some craft with felt and more !
we went to the river, Ali got some drift wood, the boys got wet of course.
we had a chat with the lovely Trish, who joins us in the afternoon with Maina. I took some great photos if i may say so ! just love taking photos...
tonight we had a barbecue, it was just a lovely day.

{Relaxing day}

Yes i know i have missed a day !! thought about it in the morning then completely forgot !!! yesterday i went to aquagym, i thought it would be quite relaxing well no way it was full on, and i worked so hard that my muscles a so aching today !! i am in need of a massage. today i had a lovely relaxing day at my friend Beate. We met back in May when we did jury duty together , and we have become friend. she is so lovely. I just had Eleanor today, so it was very relaxing.
Tomorrow will be another story ! My friend Di's children are coming over, the 3 of them so it is going to be a busy house. i just hope it doesn't rain so we can all play outside ! Ally is coming to give me a hand, and bringing her two children too !!
can't wait it is going to be fun !!

{Happy Birthday Suliac}

a post in french to start with.
le 15 decembre 2001 est ne Suliac Jean-Baptiste a 6.29 am, a l'hopital de Southport, dans l'etat du Queensland, Australie.
La journee c'est bien passee a l'hopital, j'avais prevue de rentree le lendemain a la maison. les choses ne se sont pas passes comme prevus, mais c'est comme cela dans certaines vies, rien ne se passent comme on aimerai que cela se passe. Dans la nuit la sage-femme a appelee le pediatre qui a 3 h du matin m'a annonce que Suliac avait un probleme cardiaque, il pensait que c'etait quelque chose qui s'appelle la tetralogy de FAllot, (TOF). J'etais devastee, je n'etais pas preparer, meme si j'avais eu une premonition avant la naissance.le lendemain de sa naissance il est aller a Brisbane voir un specialiste qui s'appelle Dr Cameron Ward, un cardio-pediatre absolument formidable. on est allee le voir regulierement toute les 3 semaines jusqu'au moment de l'operation a l'age de 7 mois. A l'age de trois mois on nous a annonce que tu avais aussi un syndrome qui s'appelle de syndrome de di george (22q11). j'etais completement devaster, personne je dit bien personne ne peut comprendre ce que l'on peut vivre en tant que parent a moins de le vivre ou de l'avoir vecu soit meme. nous avons perdus des soit disant "amis' avec les problemes de sante de Suliac, mais ce n'est pas grave nous en avons gagne d'autre avec beaucoup plus de coeur.
j'avais bien sur fait une recherche sur internet, car les informations fournis par les medecins sont vraiment distille. je me suis fait tellement de soucis, de nuits sans sommeils. quand je vois suliac aujourdhui 5 ans plus tard, et tous ceux qui le connaissent pourront confirmer, c'est un petit garcons adorable qui nous fait beaucoup rire ! il adore chante au micro du Robbie Williams, et jouer avec la guitare de son frere !! il est en super bonne sante, et commence l'ecole l'annee prochaine avec tous les autres enfants de son age. il ne faut pas s'inquieter, et vivre chaque jour comme il se presente, ne pas penser a l'avenir, ne pas trop lire dans les diagnostics sur internet !!! trop d'infos quelques fois ce n'est pas bon non plus !
Merci a tous ceux qui nous ont soutenus et apporte leur amities durant ces 5 dernieres annees, vous savez qui vous etes, on est confiant pour le futur.
je viens de scanner des photos de sa premiere annee ! que de souvenirs,
je vais les mettre dans mon prochain post.

may be about a holiday, just Peter and I, somewhere where we would have nothing to do !! are daydreams, the same as dreams ? not sure what else to write.
and i would want to talk to my cat if i could talk to animals, and tell her that she needs to be more friendly and cuddly !

simple question, but i find these days, people are never happy, they have a lovely house, a nice family, lovely children, no they want more, bigger house, bigger car, nicer family etc, don't you think.
people generally don't know how to be happy with simple things anymore, may be it is just a "gold coast" thing.
for the last few months i have been doing something quite rewarding call Meels on Wheels, the volonteers just deliver meals to older persons that cannot cook for themselves anymore, but still are living at home, i really enjoy doing this, i do it with my friend Di (she recruited me !!!) and my friend Beate( i recruited her !), some of these people only get our visit in the day, when you get into their houses, they are all very simple houses, and i often imagine the kind of lives they had, sometimes ,and wondered if they were happier than we are now. i wish i could just sit and have a cup of tea with them and talk, it would make them so HAPPY i m sure.
this Christmas for instance "focus on the human, not the materiel"
anyway read the article as it is very interesting indeed.
